What’s trending in the Home Fashions World for 2016?

color_crlaine6If you can’t already tell from my portfolio I’m a big fan of color!  I definitely am not afraid of color and love to use it in bold and unique ways.  I’m happy to say that the boring greys and linens and burlaps are on their way out.  Thank goodness.  I’m so tired of them.  Of course, there will always be a place for these cozy finishes but can we bring back some vibrancy please!  And, so without further ado here are some of the things that truly inspired me at the Spring High Point Market this year.

CR Laine Showroom featuring internationally known designer Tobi Fairley products to the left. She is known for her work with color and pattern and has had her work featured in magazines such as House Beautiful, Traditional Home and Southern Living.

I was the lucky recipient to win one of Tobi’s design business courses a couple of years ago at High Point.Me and Tobi Fairley

Take a look below at these Thibaut wall coverings made into beautiful floral wall displays.

I’m a huge admirer of contemporary original artwork and saw some beautiful pieces from Artists Guild of America. I can get gorgeous large original pieces for you at fantastic prices!

This fun, spring slipcovered chair is from Highland House Furniture which has a line featuring famous HGTV designer Candice Olson.

color_thibautThibaut is another favorite vendor of mine known for their high quality fabrics, furnishings and wall coverings. I saw a lot of these luscious pinks, tangerines and limes.

color_crlaine3 More CR Laine featuring the always popular teals and Chinoiserie fabrics and below a gorgeous contemporary sofa wrapped in a bright lipstick red.

color_uttermost2 This Uttermost chair would make a beautiful conversation piece around a simple breakfast table.  Uttermost is another vendor that I carry because they have fun and interesting pieces to add to any room and give it that special designer look.

Stay tuned and I will share with you some more unique finds at High Point Market this year.
